Yonkers, New York --
After spending the past 2 years pursuing other interests, former New York RipTide standout Mike Larkin has been appointed 2nd assistant baseball coach in the 15-year history of the program.

"To coach where you played is pretty interesting," said Larkin. "It was great to be back out there."

Larkin served as Short Stop for the New York Rip Tide from 2003 to 2007. He played the RipTide in the Puerto Rico and Caribe League where he quickly became respected amongst his fellow peers. “It’s great to have Mike back” said team Managing Director Jonathan Zeron “He has been such an important part of this organization for so long and having him back will only help our younger players develop into quality ball players.
